Responsibilities
We are looking for an enthusiastic Health Visitor to join our service based at Horsfall House in Halifax, having the opportunity to work flexibly within the community.
Health Visitors can make a real difference to children, families and communities and play a fundamental role in the delivery of the Healthy Child Programme, promoting child development, safeguarding children, preventing social exclusion and deprivation, and tackling important public health issues.
As a health visitor you will be responsible for a caseload of children and families requiring various levels of intervention. You will be responsible for providing a quality service to these clients including delivering Getting Ready for Baby Sessions alongside children’s centres.
We are looking for Health Visitors who embrace our Locala vision and values. Part‑time hours can be negotiated to accommodate the successful candidate’s needs and the needs of the service.
