This is an excellent opportunity to work in our busy Sexual Health services in this innovative Clinical Fellow (F3) role. The role is currently for 12 months with the option to extend to 18 months for the right candidate.
This post would suit doctors interested in careers in a wide range of specialities including Genitourinary medicine (GUM), Community Sexual and Reproductive Health (CSRH), GP Specialty Training (GPST), Obstetrics and Gynaecology (O&G), Dermatology, Microbiology and Public Health.
The successful applicant will work with genitourinary medicine consultants, contraception leads and their wider teams to gain the relevant skills and knowledge to provide a comprehensive sexual health service. The job will provide opportunities to deliver care working in partnership with clinicians from HIV medicine, gynaecology, public health, microbiology, dermatology, sexual assault and adolescent medicine.
The experience gained will help to strengthen the specialty training application and show commitment and motivation in pursuing relevant specialist training. Protected time will be given for participation in audit, research and training. There is no on‑call commitment providing a better work‑life balance. This post will be subject to a DBS check.
