Overview Job Role: Assistant Practitioner Band 4: £27,485 – £30,162 25 hours per week Permanent Responsibilities Deliver innovative community services to vulnerable and marginalised populations, including looked-after children, people affected by substance misuse, sexual exploitation, involvement in the sex industry, men who have sex with men, and individuals with complex health and social needs. Join an established integrated sexual health service in Stockport and Tameside, focusing on outreach and prevention. Support the expansion of community-based sexual health delivery through clinical outreach, prevention, and health promotion across settings such as sex-on-premises venues, residential care homes, homeless and refuge provisions, street outreach, and public health venues. Work with a multidisciplinary team to develop, implement, and evaluate sexual health interventions to maximise impact in the communities served. Work autonomously under the supervision of senior clinicians, contributing to positive patient outcomes and a patient-centred approach. Contribute to reducing health inequalities across Stockport and Tameside and support a friendly, progressive team culture. Requirements / Qualifications Experience as a healthcare assistant or equivalent with advanced skills to work autonomously under supervision. Commitment to improving health and wellbeing using a patient-centred approach within a collaborative team. DBS check may be required.
