Join our team at Terex as a Welder and Fabricator to contribute to the Ballymoney team.

Responsibilities

  • Understand technical plans and measurement requirements
  • Inspect and test cuts and joints using precision measuring instruments
  • Meet production targets on the production line
  • Ensure safe and controlled movement of production parts
  • Adhere to Health & Safety at all times
  • Work as part of a team to develop continuous improvement

Experience / Qualifications

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and measuring tools—particularly welding symbols
  • Experience in reading basic 3D CAD drawings
  • Understanding of fabrication and use of jigs
  • Proficiency in MIG mild steel welding (preferably in heavy engineering)
  • Relevant experience or NVQ Level 2 qualification
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety procedures and responsibilities
  • Previous experience in a fast-moving manufacturing/heavy equipment environment is advantageous
