Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and auditing of the Quality Management System
  • Supplier and product qualification – local and international
  • Use statistical methods to fault find and support solutions to technical issues, including control plans and standard operating procedures
  • Assure bought‑in products meet quality sign‑off criteria and work with suppliers when issues arise
  • When non‑conformance exists, introduce suitable manufacturing containment actions and collaborate with the supply base and technical personnel to achieve long‑term root‑cause solutions
  • Support day‑to‑day operations to minimize impact to production from quality issues and attend regular meetings detailing quality trends and actions
  • Support NPPD within the factory
  • Support quality inspectors in day‑to‑day duties, including investigations, problem solving and continuous improvement
  • Respond to customer queries
  • Perform supplier audits
  • Any other reasonable duty as required by management

Experience Level

  • Engineering qualification or equivalent experience in an engineering/manufacturing environment with quality/supplier quality experience
  • Proven track record of working in a manufacturing environment covering both fabrication and assembly disciplines
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control and problem‑solving techniques used throughout the manufacturing industry
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
