Join our team at Terex Omagh and embark on an exciting opportunity as we seek a skilled and dedicated Production Team Leader to contribute to our Production team.

As a Production Team Leader at Terex, based in Omagh, you’ll play a pivotal role in building equipment that helps improve the lives of people around the world.

Responsibilities

  • Leading a production team of Hydraulic Fitters, scheduling workload and materials to ensure targets are met.
  • Ensuring strict compliance with all Health and Safety processes and procedures.
  • Maintaining a high‑quality standard within the production shed at all times.
  • Supporting the Production Supervisor in their role to deliver, control and manage the day‑to‑day production of the shed to ensure on‑time delivery targets.
  • Liaising with other teams and departments on a daily basis.
  • Applying high standards of 5S.
  • Understanding of Lean principles & methodology.
  • Performing any other reasonable duties.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Significant production experience gained in a highly pressured and fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
  • Ideally you should have previous supervisory or people management experience.
  • Good working knowledge of steel fabrication, machine parts and steel processing.
  • Ability to work on your own initiative and take responsibility for making good business decisions when required.
  • Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve problems quickly.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks or projects at one time.
  • Motivated self‑starter with an eye for detail.
  • Ability to drive quality improvements and meet targets.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good IT skills.
