As a Production Team Leader at Terex, based in Omagh, you’ll play a pivotal role in building equipment that helps improve the lives of people around the world.
Responsibilities
- Leading a production team of Hydraulic Fitters, scheduling workload and materials to ensure targets are met.
- Ensuring strict compliance with all Health and Safety processes and procedures.
- Maintaining a high‑quality standard within the production shed at all times.
- Supporting the Production Supervisor in their role to deliver, control and manage the day‑to‑day production of the shed to ensure on‑time delivery targets.
- Liaising with other teams and departments on a daily basis.
- Applying high standards of 5S.
- Understanding of Lean principles & methodology.
- Performing any other reasonable duties.
Experience & Qualifications
- Significant production experience gained in a highly pressured and fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
- Ideally you should have previous supervisory or people management experience.
- Good working knowledge of steel fabrication, machine parts and steel processing.
- Ability to work on your own initiative and take responsibility for making good business decisions when required.
- Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve problems quickly.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks or projects at one time.
- Motivated self‑starter with an eye for detail.
- Ability to drive quality improvements and meet targets.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Good IT skills.
