As a Paint Shop Operative at Terex, based in Omagh, you’ll play a pivotal role in producing equipment that helps improve the lives of people around the world.
Responsibilities:- Cleans and prepares surface for painting using cleaning solution, solvent, sander and scraper.
- Applies thin coat of finish material such as paint or lacquer to sanded area.
- Sprays or touches up finish coats to blend spots or imperfections.
- Ability to prime and apply base coat to a high standard.
- Be confident in checking and polishing components with the minimum of supervision.
The successful candidate needs to have relevant experience as a Blast / Spray Painter including previous bodywork experience. They should have knowledge of paint preparation within an engineering environment. They should be hard working, a good team player with excellent communication skills and good attention to detail. You should be willing to develop your skills on an ongoing basis in line with the growing business. We also require the flexibility to work overtime as and when required.
