Join our team at Terex Omagh and embark on an exciting opportunity as we seek a skilled and dedicated NPI Fitter to contribute to our Test & Development team. Reporting to the Lead Test and Development Engineer, the NPI fitter will be involved in a wide range of activities in relation to the prototype machines.
Responsibilities:- Machine setup
- Completion of test plan items
- Initial mechanical and hydraulic testing
- Machine clean down in preparation for re-work
- Machine strip/re-work/re-build including mechanical, electric and hydraulic components
- Work with Test and Development Engineers and Design Engineers to develop and refine the prototype machines
- Report back/highlight any issues found while completing re-work or design improvements
- Replace/repair any worn or damaged parts including wear liners to leave machines in good working order to continue the test process or as part of preparation of the machine for sale at the end of testing
- Ensure compliance to all general site rules, regulations, policies & procedures
- Maintain compliance to all health and safety regulations
