As a Plasma Operator at Terex, based in Omagh, you’ll play a pivotal role in producing equipment that helps improve the lives of people around the world.
Career Key Responsibilities / What you'll do:- Set up and operate plasma cutting machine to cut steel to the required specification.
- Monitor cutting programs, check parts with respective drawings and amend working parameters when necessary.
- Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly.
- Meet set targets whilst working on the production line.
- Adhere to strict quality targets.
- Work as part of a team to develop continuous improvement.
- Complete daily safety checks to ensure machine and work equipment is in good working order.
- Maintain compliance to all Health and Safety Regulations.
The successful candidate should be hard working, a good team player with excellent communication skills and good attention to detail. You should be willing to develop your skills on an ongoing basis in line with the growing business. We also require the flexibility to work overtime as and when required.
