Responsibilities

  • Vehicle driving of lorries and forklift trucks, delivering goods to Terex facilities and customers.
  • Loading and unloading of vehicles to ensure safe and secure transport of products.
  • Checking goods off with customers and obtaining signatures.
  • Providing excellent customer service and handling delivery issues effectively.
  • Carrying out multi-drop deliveries in a timely and safe manner.
  • Driving safely and in accordance with the law, including tachograph regulations and driver hour limits.
  • Looking after the vehicle, ensuring it is not subjected to unnecessary damage.
  • Maintaining the cleanliness of the driving cab.
  • Operating forklift trucks and delivering materials safely throughout the site.
  • Operating the crane (if applicable) safely and in accordance with correct procedures.
  • Complying with fuel directives.
  • Reporting any accidents or damage to company or third-party property in accordance with company procedures.
  • Completing the vehicle daily inspection sheet and attending essential training.
  • Providing support in the yard and any other reasonable duties.
  • Adhering to all company policies and procedures, including Health and Safety Policy.
