Reporting to the Materials Manager, you will be responsible for the management and control of bought in parts (BIP’s), including ordering, receipting and issuing. Stock rotation, quality and stock counts will be a key element of the role.

Key Responsibilities / What you’ll do:
  • Use of PIT in a safe and efficient manner including Counterbalance, Reach Truck, Pallet Stacker, Tugger Truck etc.
  • Processing of Parts received to both Production and Stores
  • Prompt and accurate control of paperwork
  • Loading and Unloading of Materials deliveries
  • Compliance with inventory control measures
  • Compliance with internal environmental and waste management procedures
  • Following Standard Work procedures
  • General Housekeeping Duties
Experience Level:

The successful candidate must have:

  • A strong understanding of health and safety regulations (HSE) and proper manual handling techniques
  • Previous experience of working in stores/warehouse environment
  • Ability to manage inventory, follow procedures, and meet production deadlines
  • Basic IT skills and familiarity with ERP/MRP systems
  • Fork truck License, full training can be provided
