We have an exciting opportunity to join our team and support the increasing demand for onsite commissioning support. This role offers the opportunity to travel globally while commissioning sand and gravel washing plants, complete with water treatment systems. The Commissioning Engineer will be responsible for providing a first class service to our dealers and customers worldwide through the installation, commissioning and servicing of TWS equipment, as well as providing technical assistance, parts support and training on our products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work as part of a dedicated team delivering first class service to dealers and customers.
- Provide technical support to the Global on Terex Washing Systems Dealer Network.
- Carry out maintenance and servicing on Terex Washing Systems machinery.
- Install and Commission sand and gravel washing plants and associated water treatment systems.
- Provide post-commissioning support and troubleshooting, investigating and resolving customer problems in a timely manner.
- Research and respond to customer enquiries on parts, in conjunction with the Parts Department.
- Rotate between onsite Installation/Commissioning and office-based work for reporting and planning.
- Cooperate with Product Group Engineers to develop performance and test criteria for new products and product upgrades.
- Travel extensively worldwide to locations of dealers and customers.
Experience Level:
- A minimum of 3 years technical service maintenance experience, preferably within the materials processing industry.
- Knowledge of pumps, cyclones, FBC, filter presses, water treatment, and material processing.
- Electrical expertise, with hands-on experience in commissioning and troubleshooting.
- Ability to read drawings and technical publications.
- A self-starting problem solver with strong analytical skills.
- Ability to weld would be advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively across a range of cultures.
- A valid clean driver’s licence and passport.
- Computer literacy and experience in the use of Microsoft Office.
