This is an exciting opportunity to join a financially strong, values-driven housing association at a pivotal stage in the evolution of its Asset Management function.

Reporting directly to the

Director of Assets & New Business , you'll play a key role in shaping long-term investment strategies, improving asset intelligence and influencing business-critical decisions across a diverse housing portfolio.

The Opportunity

As Strategic Asset Manager, you'll lead Local Space's approach to asset intelligence, stock condition data and long-term investment planning .

Working closely with the Asset Delivery, Building Safety & Compliance and Finance teams, you'll transform complex asset data into robust investment programmes that support business planning, regulatory compliance and long-term financial sustainability.

You'll also become the organisation's subject matter expert for asset modelling, lifecycle planning and Asset Management Systems (AMS), providing strategic insight to senior leadership and the Board.

About You

You’ll ideally bring experience in

  • Strategic Asset Management
  • Stock Condition Surveys and asset data validation
  • Asset Management Systems (AMS)
  • Lifecycle modelling and long-term investment planning
  • Developing 5-year and 30-year investment programmes
  • Asset modelling and scenario planning
  • Decent Homes Standard and the social housing regulatory framework
  • Business planning and asset investment analysis
  • Presenting strategic reports and recommendations to senior stakeholders and Boards
  • A qualification in

Asset Management, Building Surveying, Housing, Construction or a related discipline would be advantageous.
