Overview
Providing safe activity tuition at the centre. Maintaining equipment checks including wetsuits and buoyancy aids, general craft maintenance, and safety cover and keeping up to date records with the equipment maintenance logbooks. To support and work with the centre manager to ensure the centre runs effectively and efficiently. To be outward facing and work with community groups and the hospitality sector.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- With the Watersports Centre manager play a leading role in leading and organising Watersports sessions in a reliable and safe manner.
- To be responsible for the day-to-day provision of the running of the centre.
- Ensuring community activity supports Local Solutions outcomes.
- Compassionately working with young people and community groups.
- Conducting equipment stock checks, maintenance, and repairs as and when necessary.
- Undertaking premises cleaning and maintenance as and when necessary.
- To effectively respond to accidents, complaints, safeguarding concerns and serious incidents in line with policies and procedures and escalate such issues to the centre manager accordingly.
- Ensuring that you are knowledgeable and your own qualifications are current and up to date.
