As a team leader, you will drive forward the development of this crucial service. You will support the team and seek to increase volunteers and reach out to those in need of the service through marketing and social media.

Scope of Role:
- Provide efficient, accurate and timely leadership to support Staff and Volunteers in Shopmobility.
- Develop and maintain office systems that improve efficiency, quality of recording and overall service delivery (e.g. Staff Rotas, PDRs, Training, Sickness).
- Take a proactive lead in identifying issues and implementing solutions to improve ways of working.
- Operate key office processes.
- In agreement with the appropriate manager, ensure the service has the stationery and supplies required.
- Use strong communication and people skills to work effectively with colleagues and partners.
- Work with external partners to participate in events such as the Labour Party Conference to ensure it is accessible to those needing scooters and wheelchairs.
- Build positive working relationships with the wider Liverpool One and Q Pak contributing to day-to-day service support.
Accountable for:
- Preparing weekly banking and completing Banking Analysis and Chip&Pin forms sent to the Finance Department.
- Developing and sustaining systems that support the development of the service.
- Completing Funding Monitoring.
- Providing advice, guidance and practical support to carers, in line with service procedures.
- Acting as a key point of contact for Liverpool Shopmobility.
Key responsibilities:
- Work with the Shopmobility team to raise awareness of support available to individuals with mobility issues.
- Support and participate in events and activities that provide assistance to those with mobility issues.
- Manage social media platforms to promote activities, information regarding accessibility and support available.
- Undertake other tasks that support this area of work, as agreed with the manager.
General Skills and Experience:
- Experience of supporting people.
- Ability to lead a team.
- An awareness of the needs of those with mobility issues.
- Experience of working as part of a team with the ability to prioritise own workload.
- Knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office, Outlook and Excel.
- Able to work weekends as part of the rota.
The successful candidate will require an enhanced Disclosure & Barring Check and undertake mandatory training as well as safeguarding training as appropriate for the role.
