We are seeking a motivated and experienced Nursery Practitioner to contribute to the delivery of high‑quality, responsive and inclusive early years provision that supports the holistic development of every child and their family.
The Role
- Contribute to the delivery of high‑quality, responsive and inclusive early years provision that supports the holistic development of every child and their family.
- Work collaboratively with parents, community partners and multi‑agency teams to embed LS2Y values and ensure children thrive in nurturing, stimulating and curiosity‑led environments.
- Promote child‑centred practice, emotional wellbeing and play‑based learning aligned with the EYFS 2024–25 updates.
- Assist in the efficient and effective day to day operation of the company’s nursery provision encouraging a friendly and stimulating environment and positive attitudes are established in a variety of social contexts.
- Be the key person for building relationships with small groups of children and their parents/carers.

- Health Projects: supporting the wider health and wellbeing of our families and the community LS2Y.
- Families Together: working closely in partnership with other services to ensure families access the support they need.
- Community Projects: LS2Y settings are embedded in their communities, with opportunities to contribute to events, employability support and nursery projects that connect families and local partners.
- Cross‑site Working: as part of a wider organisation, there are opportunities to collaborate across different LS2Y nurseries, sharing best practice and supporting organisational initiatives.
