Hours: Up to 40 hours a week - at least 30 hours a week, Permanent

Salary: £26,956 (based on 40 hours a week)

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Nursery Practitioner to contribute to the delivery of high-quality, responsive and inclusive early years provision that supports the holistic development of every child and their family.

The Role

  • Contribute to the delivery of high-quality, responsive and inclusive early years provision that supports the holistic development of every child and their family.
  • Work collaboratively with parents, community partners and multi-agency teams to embed LS2Y values and ensure children thrive in nurturing, stimulating and curiosity-led environments.
  • Promote child-centred practice, emotional wellbeing and play-based learning aligned with the EYFS 2024–25 updates.
  • Assist in the efficient and effective day to day operation of the Company’s nursery provision, encouraging a friendly and stimulating environment and positive attitudes established in a variety of social contexts.
  • Be the Key person for building relationships with small groups of children and their parents/carers.

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Qualified to Level 3 or above in Early Years.
  • Experienced in an early years setting.
  • Passionate about the Curiosity Approach and child-led learning.
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding, EYFS, SEND, and Ofsted requirements.
