Assist Resourcing are looking for Manufacturing Operatives to work in Worcester for our client, who is a leading Supplier of Aluminium and Magnesium Castings for the Aerospace and Defence Industries.

Previous experience in this type of role is preferred - either working within a foundry or working with aluminium products.

What does the role of Manufacturing Operative entail?

  • Operating a CNC machine
  • Operating industrial machinery, which can include a hydraulic press, grinder, borer or overhead crane
  • Fitting the right tools to active machines
  • Performing proper set-up and calibration procedures for all equipment and accessories
  • Setting tolerance levels and cutting speeds
  • Translating the requirements of detailed part drawings into measurements for production
  • Inspecting workflows to ensure that technical and quality standards are met

Working Hours for our Manufacturing Operatives:

Our client has a variety of shifts available:

  • Days: 07:45 - 16:30 (Monday to Thursday)
  • 07:30 - 13:30 (Friday)
  • Nights: 20:00 - 04:00
