A bit about us: We have been generating enquiries for local businesses for over 45 years. We are a family business with a team based in Bristol, working with companies across the South West and South Wales. Most of our customers are local business owners, with service businesses making up a large part of our client base.

Job purpose: To manage and grow client relationships across Local Pages digital products and services, ensuring clients receive clear communication, well-managed projects and measurable performance improvements. This is a client-facing account management role, not a hands-on technical delivery role. Technical SEO, PPC and website delivery will be supported by internal specialists and external partners.

Summary of Job Accountabilities:

  • Be the main point of contact for digital clients, managing expectations and next steps.
  • Coordinate digital services to ensure work is delivered on time and within scope.
  • Prepare clear briefs for all parties, including objectives, timelines and measures of success.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks and elevate delays or issues early.
  • Review performance data and turn it into clear, practical updates for clients and colleagues.
  • Build strong relationships and help clients understand the value of the work.
  • Identify account growth opportunities where additional services would genuinely support the client’s goals.
  • Work with sales colleagues on visits, proposals, renewals and recommendations.
  • Update and communicate actions, deadlines and project status clearly.
  • Have a flexible approach to workload and support wider business priorities when required.

  • Client retention and satisfaction.
  • On-time delivery of website projects and agreed campaign actions.
  • Clear, timely client updates and monthly reporting.
  • Growth of existing accounts through suitable renewals and upsell.
  • Smooth internal workflow, accurate briefs and fewer reactive issues.

Experience in a client-facing digital, account management or project management role. Understanding of digital marketing (paid and organic) and website development. Able to manage client expectations and coordinate multiple projects at once. Confident using Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word. Comfortable using CRM, reporting or project management systems. Able to interpret data and explain results clearly to clients. Clean driving licence preferred for client visits. Customer-focused, organised, proactive and commercially aware. Strong communicator with excellent written and spoken English. Able to work under pressure, manage priorities and avoid overpromising without delivery alignment. GCSE or equivalent in English and maths. The role will require a flexible approach to workload, working times, client visits and office attendance. Undertake other reasonable duties when required.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with Google Analytics, Search Console, Google Business Profile, Looker Studio, SEMrush or similar SEO/reporting tools.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Creative mindset, strong presentation skills and confidence supporting sales conversations, proposals and account growth discussions.
  • Digital marketing, project management, Google Skillshop, Meta/Facebook Blueprint or relevant marketing qualifications.
  • Interest in local businesses and helping SMEs improve their online visibility and lead generation.
