Local Maids is a fast growing cleaning company providing high quality regular home domestic cleaning. As we continue to expand, we’re looking for a motivated and experienced Internal Recruiter to help us hire reliable, professional cleaners and support our operations team.

Office based role - in Mitcham CR4 3FH

Role Overview

We’re looking for someone with solid recruitment experience who understands the full hiring lifecycle, from sourcing and screening to onboarding. You’ll play a key role in ensuring we bring on cleaners who match our standards, culture, and service expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source, screen, and interview candidates for cleaner positions
  • Manage job postings across hiring platforms
  • Review CVs and conduct initial phone/video interviews
  • Coordinate trial shifts and onboarding
  • Maintain candidate pipelines and update tracking systems
  • Communicate clearly with candidates regarding expectations and next steps
  • Work closely with the operations team to understand daily/weekly hiring needs
  • Ensure all recruitment processes meet company standards
  • Support with compliance, ID checks, and right to work documentation

Requirements

  • Proven recruitment experience (in-house or agency)
  • Strong understanding of high volume or service based hiring
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
  • Organised, proactive, and detail oriented
  • Comfortable using recruitment software and spreadsheets
  • Ability to assess candidate suitability quickly and effectively
  • Experience hiring cleaners or similar service roles (preferred but not required)
