Local Hero Logistics is a Multi-Route Franchisee (MRF) for DPD, and we are looking for experienced, motivated and hard working multi drop delivery drivers to work on our routes within DPD Liverpool depot.
Full on the job training and support will be given. A fully maintained, insured and fuelled Renault Master sized vehicle will be provided.
All vehicle costs are covered by us.
Pay is for your labour only.
Your day will start at 08:00, and shifts can be around 9 hours depending on workload, and you will be expected to work a minimum of 5 shifts per week including one weekend day.
Salary – £110 per day basic plus a generous uncapped bonus of £1 per stop for every successful delivery above your daily target of successful stops.
Your daily target of stops varies based on the route mileage but is usually around 115 successful stops
Targets are easily achieved by efficient good drivers.
Simply put, the more you deliver, the more £££ you earn.
We cover the same territory on a daily basis, so you will work in the same area allowing you to become more familiar our routes and territory, and therefore more productive so you can earn more money.
Weekly pay
This role is self employed as a delivery sub-contractor and you are responsible for your own tax and National Insurance contributions.
You will need to have a full UK licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
Applicants will have to provide a clear basic DBS check.
Previous van driving/multidrop (Amazon, DPD, Hermes, UK Mail etc) experience is preferred, but not essential.
You must be reliable, physically fit and capable of lifting boxes up to 30kg, as well as having a positive attitude and a great work ethic.
Paid training. One classroom induction day at the depot and then two days on the job with experienced driver
