We are looking for a dynamic, creative individual to join our Library Advocacy Team.
The Role
A Library Officer based at Maidenhead Library, responsible for covering all libraries within the Borough.
The salary is £30,193 – £34,104 per annum.
As part of the wider Library Specialist team, the officer will deliver stock, digital, information and promotional expertise across the library service, contribute to project delivery, support the Operations Team with events, outreach and school visits, manage designated stock areas, and develop engaging social media content to increase library visits and membership.
The role is customer‑facing, mandating interaction with households in the Borough, and may include evening or weekend work.

- Excellent digital proficiency and the capability to instruct people on using a variety of digital devices and applications.
- Willingness to work at any location within the Borough, performing physical duties such as carrying books, operating loaded book trolleys, and remaining on one’s feet for extended periods, walking between floors and across library premises.
