We are a people-focused organisation committed to delivering outstanding HR services and fostering a positive, inclusive workplace culture. We are seeking a proactive and approachable HR Officer to join our team and our workforce.

The HR Officer role is an exciting role within the HR team, supporting the delivery of the employee experience at LGSCO. Reporting to the HR Business Partner, you will be responsible for providing a wide range of HR services across the employee lifecycle, ensuring policies and processes are up to date, and acting as a trusted and approachable point of contact for staff and managers. Whilst this is a generalist role, we are looking for the successful candidate to take a lead in the areas of learning, induction and wellbeing.

What we’re looking for:

  • Significant experience of delivering a full professional HR/Learning service with varying complexity.
  • Chartered membership of CIPD or equivalent level of knowledge/experience.
  • Confidence in advising managers on all aspects of people management.
  • Ability to thrive on advising, problem-solving and supporting people.
  • Strive to improve processes.
  • Keen interest in induction, learning and wellbeing.

Occasional travel to our other offices will be necessary.
