Join our team. We’re looking for an organised and proactive Office Administrator to join Local Government East on a part-time maternity cover basis. This is a great opportunity if you enjoy variety in your role and want to be part of a supportive team making a difference across local government. You’ll help keep everything running smoothly, supporting colleagues, partners and our Talent Bank consultancy service.
What you’ll be doing:
- Providing day-to-day administrative support across the organisation
- Helping to organise Talent Bank assignments and events
- Raising purchase orders and supporting invoicing processes
- Keeping our systems and databases (including CRM) up to date
- Supporting finance admin and reporting
- Preparing documents, contracts and event information
- Responding to enquiries and acting as a first point of contact
- Updating website content (don’t worry—training provided!)
- Supporting surveys, research and data collation
- Keeping shared inboxes running smoothly
About you:
- Comfortable working in an administrative or office environment
- Well organised, with great attention to detail
- A confident communicator who enjoys working with people
- Able to juggle priorities and meet deadlines
- A team player with a flexible, can-do attitude
- Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
If you’ve worked with finance processes, CRM systems or recruitment administration, that’s a bonus, but not essential.
