Climate Resilient Homes Project Manager
We are seeking a skilled project manager to lead the development and delivery of Property Flood Resilience (PFR) schemes within our Climate Resilient Homes Team in Surrey.
About The Team
The Climate Resilient Homes team delivers high‑quality services that equip residents to adapt to an ever‑changing climate. We to provide integrated “whole‑system” retrofit solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end project management of new PFR schemes, ensuring quality, time, and budget targets.
- Oversee close‑out of existing schemes scheduled to conclude in 2026.
- Support the Climate Resilient Homes Manager in developing a pilot project to demonstrate a proof‑of‑concept for integrated energy efficiency and PFR.
- Provide expert advice to stakeholders, including the general public.
- Maintain robust project documentation and reporting.
Qualifications
- Strong grasp of flood risk management, drainage legislation, energy efficiency and renewables.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; proficient IT skills.
- Robust project management fundamentals: planning, budget, risk management, technical documentation and reporting.
- Experience developing and managing Flood Risk Management Schemes.
- Experience supporting the assessment and implementation of flood risk management options with partners and contractors.
- Full driving licence.
