Gloucestershire County Council is seeking an outstanding Consultant in Public Health. Based within the Public Health and Communities hub at Gloucestershire County Council, you will work closely with the Director of Public Health, members of the public health team and colleagues across partner organisations. As a Public Health Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in improving the health and well-being of the communities in Gloucestershire. You will support the Director of Public Health in achieving core public health objectives, including reducing health inequalities, protecting health, and contributing to the quality of local health and social care services. This role provides a huge opportunity to drive the public health agenda forward and integrate public health responsibilities into the core business of the council whilst ensuring that it meets its duties under the Health and Social Care Acts.
