LOCAL GOVERNMENT ASSOCIATION

Our six group offices – Labour, Conservative, Reform UK, Liberal Democrat, Independent and Green Party – play a vital role in supporting councillors across England and Wales. As Head of the LGA Green Party Group Office, you will shape the support for and impact of Green Party councillors at the LGA. This unique opportunity places you at the forefront of a growing and influential political group, helping to establish and develop their presence within the organisation. You will work closely with the LGA Green Party Group Leader, Group Executive and wider membership, ensuring councillors are informed, confident and fully equipped to make an impact across the LGA's boards and committees. As part of the LGA's Extended Leadership Forum, you will also help drive forward wider organisational priorities, campaigns and partnerships, working collaboratively across the political spectrum to deliver meaningful outcomes.

We use anonymous recruitment, which hides candidates' identities by removing any identifying information from applications, including names. The LGA celebrates diversity and is committed to creating an inclusive environment where everyone is treated with dignity and respect. Recruitment decisions are based on fair, open competition and appointment on merit.
