Local Education are recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded secondary school in Grays seeking an experienced Attendance Officer to join their team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Attendance Officer, Family Liaison Officer, Pastoral Officer, or School Administrator with experience in attendance to join a supportive school community. The successful candidate will play a key role in improving student attendance and punctuality by working closely with students, families, staff and external agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring and tracking attendance data
  • Managing attendance procedures and interventions
  • Liaising with parents and carers regarding attendance concerns
  • Producing attendance reports for senior leaders
  • Supporting strategies to improve attendance across the school
  • Working with external agencies where appropriate
