About the Role
Local Education is supporting a Further Education provider in the recruitment of an Interim Director of Quality to cover a short-term leadership requirement from January to February 2026. This is a senior interim role focused on quality, teaching and learning, and would suit an experienced FE leader with a strong understanding of quality frameworks, inspection readiness and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership across quality, teaching and learning
- Support curriculum leaders and teaching staff to maintain and improve standards
- Monitor performance data and quality assurance processes
- Prepare and support the organisation in relation to inspection expectations
- Act as a senior professional lead during the interim period
The Ideal Candidate
- Proven senior leadership experience within Further Education
- Strong background in quality assurance, teaching and learning
