We are working with a vibrant and creative secondary school in Bury St Edmunds that is seeking a talented Art Teacher to join their team on a long term basis starting after February half term. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire and nurture creativity in students across Key Stages 4 and 5. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and inclusive Art lessons, support students in developing their artistic skills and confidence, and contribute to the continued growth of a well-established Art department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and teach Art lessons to KS4 and KS5 students
  • Prepare students for GCSE Art assessments and coursework
  • Foster a positive and encouraging classroom environment
  • Support the development of students’ creative and critical thinking skills
  • Contribute to the wider school culture through displays, exhibitions and enrichment activities

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
