Local Care Direct is a non‑profit Social Enterprise operating across 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, to provide various primary and urgent health care services across West Yorkshire. We have part‑time positions available for Receptionists at Pontefract General Infirmary & Wakefield Trinity Medical Centre working various out of hours shifts. The Receptionist is responsible for the smooth running of the reception and waiting areas, dealing directly with patients and liaising with other members of the Local Care Direct team including health professionals and any external stakeholders. Hourly Rate: £12.71 in hours & £13.71 out of hours (In Hours = Monday to Friday 08.00 to 18.00 & Out of Hours = Monday to Friday 18.00 to 08.00 and all day Saturday Sunday), The purpose of this role is to ensure patients using LCD services at the centre are dealt with in a professional, efficient and sensitive manner which enhances their experience of the centre, LCD services and the wider NHS.
