Role Overview

  • Compliance Specialist
  • Develop and maintain great relationships with landlords, tenants and contractors within your geographical area.
  • Manage property compliance across the key risk areas at branch level.

  • Ensure the landlords, tenants and contractor experience is exceptional.
  • Manage communications via phone and email.
  • Engage with the National Compliance Manager for support and escalation.
  • Prioritise workload to ensure no property is non‑compliant.
  • Key Duties and Requirements
  • Communicate with asset managers to keep all properties compliant.
  • Order and maintain all certification within required timescales.
  • Monitor contractor works and follow up on asset manager reports.
  • File all certifications as outlined in company policy.
  • Submit HMO licensing documents.
  • Complete FRAs as required.
  • Ensure all EPC ratings are up‑to‑date and maintain regulations.
  • Keep knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation current.
  • Collaborate with asset managers to complete internal compliance checks, including weekly fire alarm testing.
  • Assist the asset management team during busy changeover periods.
  • Complete compliance audit on new properties 10 days post‑integration.
  • Build contractor networks, ensure compliance and accountability.
  • Conduct HMO pre‑inspections and inspections with council officers.

  • Excellent communication skills to provide high‑quality service to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience and knowledge of the property & lettings industry.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of property management in a lettings capacity.
  • U. K. Driver’s licence.
  • Details & Salary
  • Training
  • Complete NEBOSH qualification (company will fund the first instance).
  • Complete company internal training as required.
  • Complete HHSRS training.
  • Complete any further training if legislation changes.
  • Working Hours
  • Monday to Friday 09:00 – 17:30
    15 Saturdays 10:00 – 15:00
