Today, L’Objet operates internationally through retail boutiques, e-commerce, wholesale partnerships and leading luxury retailers.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Global Trade Marketing Manager to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract in London or Paris. This key role will ensure the continuity and successful delivery of our global trade marketing, client development, retail activations, and partnership initiatives across luxury retail, wholesale, hospitality, and international markets. Working closely with Sales, Retail, PR, Digital, Creative, Operations, and senior leadership, you will play an important role in bringing the L’Objet brand experience to life, strengthening client relationships, and supporting commercial growth globally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Trade Marketing & Retail Partnerships: Manage and execute the global trade marketing calendar, including seasonal campaigns, product launches, retail animations, hospitality partnerships, and client activations. Coordinate marketing initiatives across boutiques, department stores, wholesale partners, hospitality partners, and international markets. Act as a key marketing partner for retail and wholesale accounts, ensuring alignment with brand objectives and standards. Support global wholesale and distribution partners through marketing initiatives, in-store activations, and brand-building opportunities. Manage project timelines, budgets, approvals, and performance reviews.
  • Client Development & CRM: Drive client development initiatives focused on engagement, retention, loyalty, and long‑term customer relationships. Partner with Retail teams to support clienteling activities and elevate the luxury customer experience. Coordinate VIP experiences, gifting initiatives, private events, and personalised customer moments. Analyse CRM insights and performance data to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
  • Events, Activations & Brand Experiences: Manage retail activations, product launches, hospitality partnerships, private client events, and brand experiences. Coordinate internal teams, agencies, suppliers, and external partners to ensure high‑quality execution. Deliver experiences that reflect L’OBJET’s luxury positioning, creativity, and attention to detail.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Sales, Retail, PR, Digital, Creative, and Operations teams to deliver integrated initiatives. Monitor performance of trade marketing and client development activities. Prepare reports, campaign summaries, and recommendations for internal stakeholders. Act as a trusted marketing partner across the organisation.

About You

We are looking for someone who combines creativity, commercial understanding, and strong execution skills. You will ideally bring:

  • 5–8+ years’ experience in trade marketing, retail marketing, client development, CRM, brand activation, or a related marketing role.
  • Experience within luxury home, lifestyle, beauty, fashion, jewellery, hospitality, or premium consumer brands.
  • Experience working with luxury retailers, department stores, hospitality partners, or international markets.
  • Strong understanding of luxury consumers, clienteling, storytelling, and premium customer experiences.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects independently.
  • Confident communicator able to build relationships with internal teams and external partners.
  • Commercial mindset with experience managing budgets and analysing performance.
  • Proactive, hands‑on, solutions‑oriented, and comfortable taking ownership.
  • Fluent English required; French is a plus.
