An established and reputable civil engineering contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support a major infrastructure project based at a sewage treatment works in Worcester. The successful candidate will have a strong background in heavy civils and groundworks, with the ability to manage site operations, lead teams, and ensure high standards of safety and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day project delivery on a live civils site
- Produce high-quality project documentation, including Work Package Plans (WPP) and Risk Assessment & Method Statements (RAMS)
- Develop, maintain, and update detailed project programmes
- Work in line with NEC contract requirements
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to meet project milestones
- Uphold strong health, safety, and environmental standards
Requirements:
- Proven experience managing heavy civils and groundworks projects
- Strong working knowledge of NEC contracts
- Ability to produce WPPs, RAMS, and project programmes
- Excellent communication, organisation, and leadership skills
- Confidence managing multiple stakeholders in a live operational environment
