A well established residential developer is looking to appoint a Technical Manager to support the delivery of a major residential scheme in London. This is a significant multi phased development with a strong pipeline ahead, offering the opportunity to play a key role across both design and delivery on a large scale project. This position would suit someone looking to step into a broad, project led role with real exposure across the full development lifecycle, working closely with senior internal stakeholders and external consultants on a flagship scheme.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the technical coordination of a large residential development from detailed design through to completion
  • Coordinate and manage the external design team including architects, engineers and specialist consultants
  • Monitor planning obligations, building control requirements and statutory approvals
  • Ensure technical information is produced and issued in line with programme deadlines
  • Work closely with commercial, planning and construction teams to support project delivery
  • Review design information for coordination, buildability and compliance
  • Assist in driving value engineering and technical design solutions throughout the programme
  • Identify technical issues early and work with the wider team to resolve them efficiently
  • Provide ongoing technical support to delivery teams through construction stages
Requirements
  • Experience operating at Technical Manager level within residential development or housebuilding
  • Proven track record delivering residential schemes through design and construction phases
  • Strong understanding of UK building regulations, planning policy and technical coordination
  • Experience working on multi unit residential developments
  • Confident managing consultants and coordinating multiple project stakeholders
  • Commercially aware with a practical and solutions focused approach
