An established and privately owned developer is seeking a Development Manager to join its growing London team. The business has a strong track record of delivering high quality residential led schemes across the capital and continues to expand its pipeline through strategic acquisitions and partnerships.
This is an opportunity to take ownership of projects from acquisition through to delivery, working within a driven and commercially focused team.
Role & ResponsibilitiesYou will be responsible for managing developments through the full lifecycle, including:
- Assisting with site acquisition and due diligence
- Managing planning applications and consultant teams
- Overseeing design development to ensure schemes are deliverable and commercially viable
- Working closely with internal construction and commercial teams through delivery
- Managing programme, risk, and budget across multiple schemes
- Liaising with local authorities, stakeholders, and external partners
- Supporting funding processes and appraisals
- Proven experience working as a Development Manager or in a similar role within a developer
- Strong understanding of the London residential market
- Experience taking schemes through planning and delivery
- Commercially aware with strong financial and appraisal knowledge
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Degree qualified in a relevant field such as Real Estate, Planning, or Construction
