We are recruiting a Project Manager to lead the delivery of a major high-tech facility extension in Plymouth. The project involves the construction of a semiconductor and micro-electronics facility supporting advanced technology and wearable hardware development. This is a technically complex build requiring a Project Manager with strong experience in services-led, high-specification environments.

The Role

  • Managing the construction of a high-tech facility extension
  • Leading site teams, subcontractors and specialist consultants
  • Full responsibility for programme, cost, quality and risk management
  • Coordinating MEP-intensive and specialist works, including cleanroom and controlled environments
  • Managing works within a live or highly controlled site
  • Ensuring strict adherence to health & safety and quality standards
  • Acting as the main point of contact for all project stakeholders
  • Providing regular progress reporting and programme updates

About You

You will be an experienced Project Manager with a background in complex, technically demanding construction projects. Ideal experience includes:

  • Proven delivery of high-value construction projects as Project Manager
  • Experience in high-tech, industrial, semiconductor, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, or data centre environments
  • Strong understanding of MEP-heavy buildings and specialist installations
  • Experience working to strict quality and compliance requirements
  • Excellent leadership, coordination and communication skills
  • Relevant construction qualifications and professional certifications are desirable.
