We are currently seeking an experienced Project Director to join a well-established property developer based in London on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity to lead the delivery of a significant development project and work with a highly reputable developer.
The Role
As Project Director, you will take full responsibility for the successful delivery of a major development project, overseeing all stages from construction through to completion. You will lead the project team, manage key stakeholders, and ensure the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the overall delivery of a large-scale development project
- Manage and coordinate project teams including consultants, contractors, and stakeholders
- Oversee programme, cost, risk, and quality management
- Ensure project delivery aligns with the developer’s commercial and strategic objectives
- Provide leadership across site and project management teams
- Maintain strong relationships with contractors, consultants, and local authorities
- Monitor project performance and report progress to senior stakeholders
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Director or Senior Project Manager within the construction or development sector
- Strong experience working client-side or for property developers
- Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Strong commercial awareness and project governance experience
- Ability to start immediately or at short notice
