The Opportunity:
Our client, a leading real estate developer in the Caribbean, is seeking an accomplished Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of major commercial developments and capital projects across a prestigious and expanding property portfolio. This is a unique opportunity to join a highly respected project delivery team and take ownership of landmark developments from concept through to completion. Working within a well-funded organisation with a strong pipeline of projects, you will play a key role in shaping some of the region's most significant commercial assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the full lifecycle delivery of major commercial construction and development projects from feasibility and planning through to handover and occupancy.
- Develop and implement project execution strategies to ensure successful delivery against programme, budget, quality, and safety objectives.
- Manage and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams, consultants, contractors, and key stakeholders.
- Oversee procurement strategies, contract administration, and commercial management throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor project performance, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant statutory, regulatory, environmental, and health & safety requirements.
- Provide regular project reporting to executive leadership, including progress, cost, programme, risk, and stakeholder updates.
- Drive value engineering initiatives and continuous improvement throughout project delivery.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external consultants, contractors, and government agencies.
- Support the strategic growth and development objectives of the wider real estate portfolio.
Candidate Profile:
Essential Experience:
- Minimum 15 years' experience in project management, construction management, or development management.
- Demonstrable experience successfully delivering major commercial construction projects valued at US$50M+.
- Proven track record managing projects from inception through design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover.
- Experience working for a leading developer, Tier 1 main contractor, project management consultancy, or client-side organisation.
- Strong understanding of commercial construction methodologies, contract administration, procurement, and project controls.
- Experience managing large multidisciplinary teams and complex stakeholder environments.
- Excellent financial, commercial, and risk management capabilities.
Qualifications:
- Degree qualified in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Architecture, Project Management, or a related discipline.
- Professional accreditation such as PMP, MRICS, MCIOB, MAPM, PE, or equivalent is highly desirable.
