Operating with agility and confidence in both residential and mixed-use markets, the business is expanding its acquisition and development pipeline and now seeks a commercially driven individual to join the team in a key consultancy role.
We are seeking a sharp, ambitious Investment & Development Consultant to support the identification, appraisal, and execution of new acquisition and development opportunities. The successful candidate will play a vital role in helping to grow the pipeline, shape strategy, and drive value through planning, repositioning, and disposal of assets. This is an opportunity to work closely with a lean and dynamic senior team on both deal sourcing and asset enhancement—ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting.
Key Responsibilities- Source and appraise off-market and on-market property investment and development opportunities
- Prepare detailed financial appraisals, feasibility studies, and cashflows
- Manage due diligence, from initial interest through to completion
- Work with planning consultants, architects, and other advisors to unlock value in development assets
- Monitor market trends, policy shifts, and planning updates across target geographies
- Assist in exit strategy planning – disposal, leasing, or asset management recommendations
- Attend networking events, maintain relationships with agents, introducers, and partners
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in property investment, development, or advisory
- Strong understanding of residential and/or mixed-use development in Greater London and the South East
- Confident in running financial appraisals (ideally proficient in Argus or Excel-based modelling)
- Commercially aware, with strong negotiation and communication skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset – proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable taking initiative
- RICS qualification (or working towards) is advantageous, but not essential
