A well-established and highly regarded London-based property developer is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Site Manager to join its growing construction team. With an impressive pipeline of high-quality residential and mixed-use developments across London, this is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in delivering design-led projects from construction through to completion. The Role

Reporting to the Project Director, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of a prestigious residential development, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards. You will lead site operations, coordinate subcontractors and maintain exceptional standards across health & safety, quality and programme delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day site operations from construction through to handover.
  • Lead and motivate site teams and subcontractors.
  • Ensure works are delivered safely and in accordance with company procedures.
  • Drive programme performance and proactively resolve construction issues.
  • Maintain exceptional quality standards throughout the build.
  • Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Chair site meetings and liaise with consultants, commercial teams and senior management.
  • Monitor project progress against programme and report on key milestones.
  • Manage inspections, snagging and handover processes.
  • Promote a positive site culture focused on quality, safety and collaboration.

About You

We're looking for an experienced Senior Site Manager who has successfully delivered large-scale residential or mixed-use developments within London. You will ideally possess:

  • Proven experience delivering residential developments for a developer or main contractor.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of construction sequencing and programming.
  • Experience managing multiple subcontract packages.
  • Strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work within fast-paced live construction environments.
  • SMSTS, CSCS Black Card and First Aid at Work.
  • A stable employment history with a track record of delivering projects from inception through to completion.
