A leading Caribbean real estate developer is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Senior Development Manager to support the delivery of a portfolio of luxury residential, hospitality-led, and mixed-use developments across the Caribbean. This is a unique opportunity to join a well-capitalized, design-led organization delivering world-class projects with an international standard of execution. The successful candidate will play a key leadership role across the full development lifecycle — from acquisition and feasibility through construction, delivery, and handover.
The role is ideally suited to an individual with proven experience delivering ultra-luxury residential, branded residence, resort, or mixed-use developments in partnership with internationally recognized developers, hotel operators, and consultant teams.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage luxury real estate developments from acquisition through completion and operational handover
- Oversee project feasibility, due diligence, budgeting, scheduling, and development strategy
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, hotel operators, and legal advisors
- Drive project execution to ensure delivery against design, quality, financial, and program objectives
- Manage stakeholder relationships across ownership groups, investors, operators, and government authorities
- Monitor development budgets, cash flow, procurement strategies, and cost controls
- Support contract negotiations, consultant appointments, and construction management processes
- Identify and mitigate project risks throughout the development lifecycle
- Ensure developments align with international luxury hospitality and residential standards
- Prepare regular reporting for executive leadership and investment stakeholders
- Extensive experience in luxury residential, hospitality-led, or mixed-use real estate development
- Proven track record managing complex developments from concept through delivery
- Experience working with branded residences, luxury resorts, or internationally recognized hotel brands
- Strong commercial, financial, and project execution capability
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across international teams and jurisdictions
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Deep understanding of development processes, construction delivery, and project controls
- Experience within the Caribbean or other international resort markets is advantageous
