FINTECH PRODUCT INTERN - CREDIT, DATA & AI
LoanTube is looking for a sharp, highly analytical intern to help build the next generation of AI-native credit products.
We’ve built the UK’s leading AI-powered credit distribution platform, processing 10,000+ applications every day across consumer and business lending, in partnership with 50+ lenders and powered by credit bureau data, Open Banking and live lender appetite.
We’re now pushing this further. LoanTube recently launched a fully conversational WhatsApp credit journey, allowing customers to apply for loans entirely through conversation. Alongside our ChatGPT integration, it’s a glimpse of what the future of credit distribution looks like.
You’ll work directly with LoanTube’s Founder/CEO across product development, credit data, research and analysis, product documentation and new AI-powered customer journeys.
This is not a generalist internship. We are specifically looking for candidates who already have demonstrable practical experience to both Product and credit / financial services.
That experience can come from internships, previous employment, startups, university projects or products you have built yourself, but you should be able to demonstrate:
- Product experience - some practical experience of building or improving a product, defining requirements, analysing user behaviour, working with technical teams, running experiments or taking an idea from problem through to implementation.
- Credit / financial services experience - prior exposure to lending, credit risk, consumer or SME finance, Open Banking, or a closely related area of banking or payments.
- Data and analytical ability - confidence working with data to understand problems, identify opportunities and make decisions. Experience with SQL, Python or analytical tools is highly desirable.
Beyond that, we’re looking for someone who is highly analytical, detail-obsessed, entrepreneurial and genuinely interested in building. You should be comfortable taking ownership of ambiguous problems rather than waiting to be told exactly what to do.
This role is particularly suited to a graduating student, recent graduate or early-career candidate who already has relevant experience and now wants genuine hands‑on responsibility building financial products at the intersection of credit, data and AI.
The internship is intended as a route into our Product team. For an exceptional candidate who performs strongly, our objective would be to progress them into a full-time Product role after the six-month internship.
