Eden Scott is delighted to be retained by Loaninghill Fabrication to appoint a Senior Estimator to join their senior management team. As Senior Estimator you will be responsible for all commercial aspects of contracts before they are won as orders. This is a key role and will sit as part of the senior management team bridging the gap between technical execution and strategic business growth, ensuring project pipelines are profitable, safe, and aligned to Loaninghillβs high standards of quality.
Loaninghill Fabrication Co Ltd was established in 1986 and is a leading provider of structural steelwork and metal fabrication. The business was acquired by current owners in February 2020. Since 2020 the owners have invested heavily into the future of the business for the next 5 years strategic growth plans. In May 2026 they will move into their new offices which they have built as part of their current office and workshop extension and upgrade, setting them up for their next stage of growth.
Reporting to the Contracts Director and owner of the business you will have an integral role and autonomy to help lead and shape the business growth going forward as they look to double turnover over the coming years. Candidates must be self-driven with a desire to improve and progress and be involved in other aspects of the business as a key senior leader.

- Industry Expertise β Experience as a Steelwork Estimator within the fabrication industry. (Other closely aligned experience will also be considered)
- Strong Technical Skills β Proficiency in reading specifications, conducting take-offs, and calculating complex project costs.
- Strategic Thinking β Ability to look beyond individual bids to identify broader commercial risks and opportunities.
- Communication β Strong ability to interface between design, contracts, and external stakeholders.
- Team Player β As part of a relatively small team can support others and conduct tasks out with job role.
