p Eden Scott is delighted to be retained by Loaninghill Fabrication to recruit an experienced Skilled Operator to support both workshop and site operations across a range of fabrication and installation projects. This is a varied hands-on role involving steel erection, fabrication, material preparation, welding and general labouring duties. /p p br /p p Working closely with experienced fabricators and site teams, you will assist with the manufacture and installation of gates, railings, structural steelwork and industrial metalwork. A key responsibility of this position is carrying out end-of-day site checks, ensuring equipment is switched off and the workshop is securely locked up. For this reason, the role works 15 minutes later than the standard workshop shift. /p p br /p p strong Key Responsibilities: /strong /p ul li Assisting with the on-site erection of steelwork /li li General site works and labouring /li li Driving company vehicles and delivering materials, plant and equipment as required /li li Fabricating gate posts and gates /li li Cutting and preparing materials for fabrication /li li Undertaking MIG welding activities (training provided) /li li Punching and drilling materials as required /li li Maintaining fabrication records in line with factory production control procedures /li li Operating machinery and plant, including hand tools, power tools and forklifts /li li Working from drawings and following written and verbal instructions /li li Conducting end-of-day workshop shutdown and lock-up procedures /li li Ensuring compliance with all health safety procedures /li /ul p br /p p strong Essential Requirements: /strong /p ul li Previous experience in a fabrication workshop, manufacturing or site-based environment /li li Full UK Driving Licence /li li Self-motivated with a positive, can-do attitude /li li Excellent time management skills /li li Outstanding attendance and reliability record /li li Ability to follow written and verbal instructions /li li Good work ethic and attention to detail /li li Strong communication skills /li li Ability to work additional hours over and above the core working week /li li Health Safety conscious approach to work /li /ul p br /p p strong Desirable Requirements: /strong /p ul li CSCS Operative Card /li li MEWP qualifications /li li Forklift or lifting equipment qualifications /li li Experience of MIG welding /li li 7.5T Driving Licence /li li Class 2 / Category C (32T Rigid) Driving Licence /li /ul p br /p p strong Hours: /strong /p p Monday to Thursday: 7:30am - 4:30pm and Friday: 7:30am - 3:30pm /p p br /p p strong Salary: /strong /p p £15.00 - £17.00 per hour DOE /p p br /p p em Please note: Eden Scott have been retained for this project.
