To Assist the service Manager in providing a caring, secure environment through including physical, social and emotional care for the children within the setting.

Provide individual attention and group activities for the children and support the Lead practitioner in building strong partnerships with children and their families to enable the children’s needs to be met.

Working with children with additional support needs: Working with children who have additional needs involves providing individualised support, promoting emotional and social development, and ensuring each child can access learning in a safe, nurturing environment.

The role typically includes assisting with personalised education plans, adapting activities to suit diverse abilities, and using positive behaviour strategies to help children engage meaningfully in daily routines.
