The Job:
- Undertake compulsory training and refreshers as required.
- Work with fellow Loafers and other teams around Loaf as one team - brings a positive energy to work.
- Train Shack Assistants in all areas of their role.
- Support the Shack Manager with recruitment and onboarding.
- Offer day to day guidance, coaching and support to the team including holding 1:1s.
- Understand and adhere to the Loaf SHACKS sales policies - deliver a customer experience that is warm, friendly, knowledgeable and professional.
- Make sure you have amazing, up to date product knowledge. Attend regular training sessions and pro-actively keep your product knowledge up to date.
- Give our customers the confidence to make informed decisions with your honesty and amazing product knowledge.
- Listen to customer feedback, make suggestions for improvements and escalate to the Shack Manager where necessary.
- Be responsible for the delivery of an amazing customer experience, working together with the rest of the Shack team.
- Maintain an awareness of daily and weekly sales targets and how your shack is performing against these. Make suggestions for improving sales.
- Review sales reports and weekly/monthly trade feedback. Compare product sales compared to last week/last year/other Shacks.
- Understand customer order processes and make sure orders are placed within guidelines and ensuring every detail is correct.
- Keep up to date with best-selling products.
- Review feedback from other Loafers and make suggestions on actions that could be taken to improve the Shack layout/placement of products, optimising performance.
- Understand and adhere to the Shack standards training, including making sure all our displays are in line with VM guidelines.
- Manage processing and sorting of deliveries.
- Manage and take accountability for stock takes.
- Pro-actively check room sets, adjusting as necessary.
- Understand and adhere to all H&S requirements.
- Deputise for the Shack Manager.
- Act as a keyholder for the Shack, including training in First Aid and Fire Marshalling.
- Understand and adhere to all H&S compliance, management and reporting.
- Regular floor walks and checking in with the team on tasks for the day.
- Represent the Shack at offsite events, e.g. product launch training.
- Provide cover to other Shacks as necessary.
Previous experience within a customer facing role.
- Strong interpersonal skills with excellent communication and listening skills.
