Loading has been creating spaces for people to drink, relax, and play since 2010. We offer hundreds of board and video games to our customers, for free. We work closely with big names in the games industry, and are a go-to space for new title launches, community meet ups, and nights out with friends.

With a newly added second floor with an events focus we're looking for an experienced person to join our team. Your main responsibility will be taking care of the downstairs bar space when it's open, sorting both set up and close down. An interest in the world of gaming is a must as you'll be working around game launches, demo events and community parties.

What we are looking for:

  • Confidence and understanding of different customers’ needs
  • Experience in successful small team management
  • Ability to maintain standards and attention to detail
  • Self-motivation and resourcefulness
  • Helping manage all aspects of the bar
  • Running of busy shifts - being able to lead the team
  • Customer communication/troubleshooting
  • Helping staff development with training and guidance
  • Swift communication, flagging any issues
  • Flagging any maintenance and assisting in its fixing e.g. booking approved contractors ASAP

Qualifications:

  • Experience in the last year working in a hospitality role
  • Health and safety, first aid, barista, cocktail training are all great advantages
