  • Groundworks Contracts Manager to support the delivery of our projects in

Oxford and across the South of England .

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple groundworks projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have

  • 10+ years’ experience in a Groundworks Contracts Manager role.
  • The ability to manage and plan for
  • 4–5 projects concurrently , with a minimum of

7 operatives per site .

  • Experience and knowledge of current health, safety, and environmental legislation.
  • Competence in producing site-specific Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
  • A commitment to achieving a high standard of quality in all aspects of work.
  • Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to deliver projects within allocated budgets and programmes.
  • Experience in

S278 works, services, and all external works .

  • Competence in completing take-offs from design drawings for material and plant requisitions.
  • Excellent communication skills and accurate record keeping.

  • CSCS Card (Black Card preferred)
  • SMSTS
  • First Aid at Work
  • Supervisor SWQR (Street Works Qualifications Register)
  • IOSH
