As part of our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced

Groundworks Supervisor to support delivery on our projects in and around Doncaster.

The Role

This is a hands‑on supervisory role responsible for overseeing day‑to‑day groundworks operations on site.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

You will be site‑based in Doncaster, managing operatives and coordinating subcontractors across active developments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervising groundworks teams on site, ensuring productivity and high standards of workmanship.
  • Coordinating day‑to‑day site activities and ensuring works are completed in line with programme requirements.
  • Ensuring full compliance with current Health, Safety and Environmental legislation.
  • Delivering and monitoring site‑specific RAMS.
  • Liaising with site management, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Maintaining accurate site records and documentation.
  • Assisting with material and plant requisitions.

• Overseeing works including

  • Roads & sewers
  • RC foundations (ring beam & strip foundations)
  • External works

Experience Required

The candidate must have proven experience in

  • Roads & sewers
  • RC foundations – ring beam & strip foundations
  • Additionally
  • Previous experience in a Groundworks Supervisor role.
  • Ability to manage site teams and coordinate multiple activities effectively.
  • Strong understanding of health, safety and environmental regulations.
  • Good communication and organisational skills.
  • Commitment to delivering high‑quality work.
